Another very good True Talk. I have never been one to hold on to anger for long periods of time. However at 60 years old, I am coming into the realization that too many times I just let things go that angered me. Never had a conversation, never dealt with the anger in anyway. After listening to your talk, maybe I truly never let all of it go. As a result, today I have very little patience for the things that anger me. I "TRY" to deal with those things now as a quickly as possible and in a none confrontational manner. I believe if I had dealt with some of these things a long time ago some of my relationships would be so much better and further along.
Great points, Angela. Not dealing with the source of the anger doesn’t mean it’s gone. Then somewhere, somehow it gets sparked and fires up again. It sounds like you have a good handle on recognizing when the heat is rising and then taking quick, responsible action to put it out. Thanks for watching.
